Donations to our annual Angel Tree program can be made using any of the following options:


  1. GREEN envelopes - available in the bulletin the weekend of November 4th/5th or from the Angel Tree located in the narthex of the church; return via the regular collection at masses through December 2nd/3rd; be sure to complete the enclosed receipt information if you want an income tax receipt

  2. Online via CANADA HELPS - use the above DONATE NOW button and select Angel Tree as the program of choice when you are making your donation - credit cards are used for this option

  3. INTERAC EMAIL TRANSFER directly to SSVP - email your donation to - in the message section let us know that this is for the Angel Tree program; if you want an income tax receipt, include your name and full mailing address OR your name and envelope number if you have church envelopes


Donations of gently-used furniture are accepted within our larger Saint Vincent de Paul family, but not directly by our conference.

  2. Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Hamilton Store - trucks come into Burlington on Wednesdays to pick up furniture - please call 905-549-3902 to schedule a pickup date


Donations of clothing will be best directed to those in need, at no cost, by the following organizations within Burlington and Oakville.  We recommend checking on the websites or calling before you go, to see the list of items that are accepted and to ensure that times have not changed.

SSVP and the church are separate entities with separate banking arrangements.  Donations to SSVP should not be combined with donations to the church and should not be made via e-Transfer to the church.  

Donations must be dated and received by December 31, 2024 to be counted toward a 2024 income tax receipt.


In addition to online donations using the Donate Now button above, the following three methods are available.

MONTHLY SSVP COLLECTION at church (blue envelope collection)


Collection is on the last Sunday of each month, at the end of each mass.  Blue envelope donations are generally deposited by the Friday following the final Sunday of the month.  Collection dates for 2024 will be:

  • January 27/28​

  • February 24/25

  • March 23/24 (one week early due to Easter)

  • April 27/28

  • May 25/26

  • June 29/30

  • July 27/28

  • August 24/25

  • September 28/29

  • October 26/27

  • November - no specific collection due to Angel Tree progam in progress

  • December 28/29



E-Transfer directly to us at (please include your name and envelope number in the message field).  Please do not e-Transfer for SSVP to the church email address.



This is no longer part of the church’s pre-authorized debit program.  Registration forms to our PAD program are available at the front doors of the church or from the church office.   You can also download a copy of the required form HERE and email to us at
